George O'Toole is a local Blue Mountains artist inspired by scavenging wasted resources and seeking beauty and abundance in the chaos.

George works in waste management and bears witness to the tail end of capitalistic excess and often assumes the role of garbage death doula, either assisting waste to reincarnate, materialising into new forms, or suffer the eternal damnation of landfill.
